Stress reduction by nature experiences - Shinrin-yoku or "forest bathing" is a method for stress reduction coming from Japan, recognized since the beginning of the 1980's and is prescribed there even by physicians as health precaution. We are talking about an extraordinary stay in the forest with all the senses and a conscious experience of nature. In order to achieve this, various techniques are used for targeted deceleration in and with nature.
The positive effect on the human nervous, hormonal and immune systems has been proven in numerous studies. For example, terpenes and essential oils activate the formation of white blood cells, so that after an extensive walk in the woods about 50 percent more of them can be detected in the blood.
