With the reopening of the "Zum Kuckuck" indoor playground, families staying at the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee can look forward to a holiday experience that makes every day special. The former children's play hall has been completely redesigned, expanded, and transformed into a modern, nature-inspired world of adventure—inspired by the warm brown and green tones of the Black Forest.
The result is a world of adventure where children can play, romp, and discover in any weather, while parents enjoy moments of relaxation.
The new play area offers around 1,500 square meters of adventure for babies, kids, and teens – and a wide range of opportunities for exercise, creativity, and shared experiences. Every child will find the right area for them here – from safe exploration to sporting adventures.
IMPORTANT! We ask external guests to purchase tickets in advance via our shop. If online booking is not possible for your desired date, the quota for that day is already exhausted.

The lovingly designed toddler area offers our youngest guests a safe, clearly laid out space to explore the world in their own way. Soft materials, age-appropriate play modules, and clear structures create an environment in which babies and toddlers can play freely and safely.
A special highlight is the Bobby Car course, where little racers can take their first laps, test obstacles, and develop motor skills and balance through play. Here, the little ones experience their first adventures—curious, happy, and always well protected.
The centerpiece of the new indoor hall is the ninja course, which has been one of the most popular attractions since its opening. Various obstacles, climbing elements, and balance stations make the course a sporting challenge for children and their parents. Courage, skill, and team

Yes, use of the indoor play area is free of charge for hotel guests. There is only a fee for use of the Valo Arena.
Babies and toddlers should always be accompanied by an adult when playing. No supervision is required for children aged 12 and over or those attending the Spatzenclub childcare program.
It is not permitted to bring food and drinks into the indoor play area. There is a drinking fountain in the hall, which everyone can use free of charge.
The hotel's jumpsocks are mandatory and must be purchased once. Price per pair: €4.00. Included
for hotel guests.
Accompanying persons are permitted to enter the play area wearing socks. Jumpsocks are also mandatory for accompanying persons when using the equipment.
