The Celts in the Black Forest
The five-element typology is also linked by wellness specialists at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee to the Celtic settlement of the Black Forest.
Why? The Celts had a keen sense of energy and lived in harmony with nature. Even today, mystical historical artifacts offer impressive insights into the advanced culture and way of thinking of this people. In addition to tree and stone circles, large boulders, burial mounds, ramparts, and places of worship and power, traces also lead to the Alemannic language and Celtic symbolism.
Remains of what are believed to be Celtic stone circles can be admired near Schluchsee, for example in the municipality of Blasiwald, as can large, solitary boulders at the entrance to properties. Are these boundary stones, markers or memorial stones?
Experts disagree on this, and so their meaning remains a mystery.
