Hüsli Local History Museum

This luxurious vacation home was built in 1911 as a typical Black Forest house with traditional furniture and equipment in Grafenhausen. It became famous as the home of "Prof. Brinkmann" in the TV series "Schwarzwaldklinik." There is much to discover in the children's quiz. Right next door is the "Schlühüwana" nature trail.

Rothaus Brewery

The home of "Tannenzäpfle" awaits interested visitors with an interactive exhibition covering 300 square meters with interesting facts about the brewery and the culture of the Black Forest. Equipped with an audio guide, the entire site can be explored on your own. There is also the "Zäpfle Weg" discovery trail and a large playground in front of the brewery.

Riesenbühlturm

A popular hiking destination at Schluchsee is the Riesenbühlturm tower, which was rebuilt in 2001. From there, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the village and lake, and in good weather, you can even see as far as the Alps. These new trend sports are paddling variants and are just as much fun for serious athletes as they are for amateurs. Whether on, in, or around it, Schluchsee offers a wide variety of opportunities for water sports enthusiasts. With "RaffTaff," a specialist provider of canoe tours, guests at the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee in the Black Forest Camp can feel like real adventurers. Glide silently across the lake in a "Canadian canoe" or "kayak" and let the impressive panorama of the Black Forest pass you by: this is nature at its purest.

SUP (stand-up paddling) is a little more athletic: when stand-up paddling, you move forward on a kind of surfboard with the help of a paddle. Standing completely free on the board, the paddler must balance each wave by shifting their weight. The whole-body movement is perfect fitness training – but very easy to learn. And if you fall in, water is only wet.

You can (and remain) comfortably seated on top with SOT (Sit On Tops). Here, the paddler sits in a hollow – on top of the kayak rather than inside it. As the stable, virtually unsinkable boats are completely closed, no water can get in.

The experienced instructors at RaffTaff offer training, boat rental, and guided tours at Schluchsee. The canoe station is open on weekends from mid-May and daily from June to June from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
