Amalienruh, a small peninsula directly on Schluchsee lake with panoramic views of the lake and the surrounding Black Forest landscape – you could hardly imagine anything more beautiful. Tie the knot under the open sky with a breeze from the Black Forest in your hair.

The historic Schluchsee train station building right on the lake, with its wedding room, also exudes a very special charm. Since 2008, bridal couples have been able to tie the knot here and celebrate with up to 25 guests.

Weddings at the Feldberg Tower in the Black Forest

So close to heaven
 

On the Feldberg, the highest mountain in the Black Forest, stands the Feldberg Tower with an incomparably fantastic view that stretches from the Zugspitze to Mont Blanc in good weather. Since 2003, a wedding room has been set up on the eleventh floor of the former radio tower – the highest wedding room in Baden-Württemberg. Couples wishing to get married are married here during the summer months. In this special wedding location in the Black Forest, you are truly a little closer to heaven.

Church weddings

In and around Schluchsee, there are several beautiful churches where you can receive spiritual blessings, such as St. Mary's Church in Blasiwald. The parish of Blasiwald has belonged to Schluchsee since 1979 and is only about 10 kilometers away from the Vier Jahreszeiten am Schluchsee.

St. Mary's Church, also known as the "Filialkirche Maria Königin des Friedens" (St. Mary Queen of Peace Branch Church) in Blasiwald, was built in 1956 and consecrated in 1966. The church's three bells are dedicated to St. Mary Queen, St. Pantaleon, and Margrave Bernhard of Baden. There are also two outstanding works of art in this wedding venue in the Black Forest: the Christ corpus on the altar cross and the silver-gold statue of John the Baptist.
